As we continue to grow our business and team, we are seeking an experienced, dedicated and driven Cybersecurity and Network Manager to lead our team. About the Role
Manage and maintain Greatland cyber security and network resources and systems to ensure Greatland maintains an appropriate cyber security posture and an efficient and reliable Network. Staying abreast of latest cyber security trends and advising how Greatland can ensure it is secure
Please note: This role is predominately located in our Subiaco office on a full-time basis with adhoc visits to site as required.
- Manage the identification, analysis, and reporting of cyber risks and threats, providing the Head of IT with clear insights and recommendations for mitigation.
- Collaborate with leadership to design, implement, and maintain security programs, policies, and technical controls that align with enterprise risk and governance strategies.
- Design, deploy, and manage reliable LAN/WAN infrastructure to ensure performance, recoverability, and compliance with security standards.
- Monitor and enforce security policy compliance, conduct infrastructure audits and vulnerability assessments, and oversee remediation and reporting of findings.
- Manage production issues, incidents, and change processes, engaging with third-party vendors to support effective delivery and monitoring of the organisation’s cyber strategy.
- Deliver targeted security awareness and training, manage IT projects as directed by the Head of IT, and perform on-call duties in line with the team roster.
About You
Our ideal candidate will help deliver reliable, secure, and user-friendly technology solutions that support all Greatland staff in their day-to-day work. Other requirements include:
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in IT with around 5 years’ experience in a cyber security or network-focused role (or equivalent experience).
- Possess industry certifications in IP networking, cloud technologies, and cyber security (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft, or CompTIA), with additional credentials such as CCNA, Security+, Azure Security Engineer, ISC² SSCP, or Fortinet NSE5+ highly regarded.
- Strong Fortinet and Cisco Firewall and Switch skills, including design and implementation.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to guide and support others in delivering secure and effective IT solutions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and literacy skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proven customer service focus and commitment to providing a smooth and positive technology experience for all Greatland staff.
- Advanced technical skills across Microsoft Office, Exchange, SQL Server, Pure Storage, and Hyper-V environments.
