Following some internal promotions, we are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Administrator to join our team for a period of 6 months, with the possibility of permanency.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Administrator will play a key role in delivering timely, service-oriented support across the team, contributing to the smooth functioning of HR operations. This hands-on role offers exposure across all aspects of the HR department, while contributing to the success of one of Australia’s leading gold producers. This is a full time, maximum term (6 months), role working from our Subiaco office Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line HR support, addressing general enquiries and escalating complex issues as needed.
- Coordinate HR documentation throughout the employee lifecycle, including contracts and variations.
- Support HR systems and databases, including new user onboarding, data maintenance, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain and update employee personnel files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain and update HR templates and documents to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices.
- Conduct routine HR audits to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and best practice, identifying areas for improvement.
- Support Talent Acquisition administration and payroll as required.
- Provide ad hoc support to the broader HR team as required.
About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented HR Administrator who is passionate about providing high-quality support across a variety of HR functions.
In addition to these attributes, the ideal candidate should have:
- 2+ years HR administration experience
- Experience with HRMS systems (SuccessFactors highly regarded)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
