About the Role

In this role you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficient operation of essential water and infrastructure systems. You will contribute to the ongoing success of the operation through maintaining the mechanical integrity of critical assets, including water extraction and distribution networks, tailings pipelines, sewage facilities, and more.

 

Roster: 8/6, FIFO from Perth.

Key responsibilities:

    • Hands-on involvement in the Servicing, Maintenance and repair of Mechanical Pumping and distribution systems for the Utilities assets across the site. Including (but not limited to) Raw Water extraction networks, Water, conditioning, Wastewater processing, Storage and distribution of Water to maintain Operational supply for a 24hr Operation.
    • Provide technical support for mechanical maintenance activities where needed.
    • Ensure your work is compliant with Statutory Regulations.
    • Ensure that high-risk tasks are identified with appropriate hazard controls.
    • Conduct regular audits of Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) to ensure relevance and compliance.

About You

    • Experience in either mechanical fitting or Boilermaking for a wide variety of electric and diesel-powered pumps, both above and below ground.
    • Proficient in electrofusion with poly pipe.
    • Strong logical thinker with excellent technical aptitude and the ability to effectively solve problems.
    • Capable of working independently while also thriving in a team environment.
    • Holds a current manual W.A. driver’s license; HR license is advantageous but not required.
    • Seeking a professional individual with a courteous and respectful approach to others.
