About Telfer Operations

Telfer is a gold-copper mine located in the Paterson Province of the East Pilbara region of Western Australia. It includes both open-pit and underground mining operations, as well as the operation of Australia’s third-largest gold-copper processing facility. Since beginning gold production in 1975, Telfer has produced more than 15Moz of gold to date.

Our Telfer operations offer a fly-in fly-out work arrangement, providing our workforce with a healthy work-life balance. Onsite, we offer a broad range of recreational activities, including a recently refurbished gym, swimming pool, driving range, movie room, and both dry and wet mess facilities.

In addition to Telfer, Greatland owns 100% of the Havieron gold-copper, a world class development project with a multi-decade mine life, located 45km east of Telfer that will utilise the existing Telfer infrastructure to process Havieron ore, together with a significant exploration portfolio in the region surrounding Telfer.
