Shutdown Site Administrator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shutdown Administrator to join our Site Support team at Telfer Operations.

This role is integral to the successful delivery of shutdown activities, ensuring high-quality administrative support across planning, coordination and execution. Working closely with operational teams and fellow administrators, you will contribute to safe, efficient and well-executed shutdowns that support our broader operational objectives.

 

Please note: The roster for this role is 8/6 FIFO from Perth

 

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Provide high-quality administrative support for shutdown planning and execution
  • Maintain shutdown personnel records, including timesheets, reporting and communications
  • Manage documentation in line with governance and compliance requirements
  • Build strong relationships with supervisors, planners, procurement and contractors
  • Process PRs and SES in SAP to support contractor engagement and payment
  • Ensure data accuracy across SAP/CMMS systems, including timesheets and reporting
  • Coordinate mobilisation, travel and accommodation requirements
  • Prepare meeting materials and support effective stakeholder communication
  • Support shutdown procurement activities in line with company processes
  • Assist with field-based admin tasks, including safety and risk activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes and documentation
  • Ensure clear, transparent and aligned communication

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong experience with SAP or similar systems supporting operational and administrative workflows
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems across maintenance, procurement or finance modules
  • Current C-Class manual driver’s licence (essential)
  • Previous experience in site-based or shutdown administration (highly regarded)
  • Exposure to HR Labour Management, mobilisation, and travel/accommodation systems (desirable)
