About Telfer Operations

Telfer is a major gold-copper mine in the East Pilbara region of WA, featuring both open-pit and underground mining, along with one of Australia’s largest processing facilities. Operating since 1975, it has produced over 15 million ounces of gold.

Telfer offers a fly-in fly-out (FIFO) arrangement and a range of onsite amenities including a gym, pool, movie room, driving range, and modern dining facilities.

Nearby, Greatland’s 100%-owned Havieron project just 45km from Telfer is a world-class gold-copper development that will leverage Telfer’s existing infrastructure, alongside an exciting regional exploration portfolio.

About the Program

The Greatland Summer Vacation Program offers students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in their chosen field while contributing to projects that drive innovation, safety, and sustainability across our operations. Over 12 weeks, you'll work alongside industry professionals, develop technical and professional skills, and get a taste of what a future with Greatland could look like.

Please note: This program will run over 12 Weeks on 8 days on, 6 days off Roster- FIFO from Perth from December 2025 – February 2026.

• Build a diverse pipeline of early-career talent
• Support future graduate program recruitment

Who Should Apply?

We’re looking for motivated, curious students of a relevant bachelor's or master's degree and are either an Australian permanent resident or hold valid working rights in Australia.
